SAP Netweaver Business Client - How to Manually Set the Administrator Configuration

Administrator Configuration File Settings

Sometimes you may need to manually set the Administrator Configuration File path, this is a quick guide on how to do that.

1. Open NetWeaver.

2. Click on the SAP icon, then highlight “Settings” then click on “Personalize…”:

3. Make sure “Hide system selector on startup” is not ticked. For “Administrator Configuration File:” make sure you set the server path to the document, and then click "Apply":

4. You will get an “Invalid Input” Error, click “OK”.

5. Another popup titled “Administrator Configuration File Info” will appear, click “OK”.

6. Now press “OK” to close the “Personalize…” option.

7. Now close the program.

8. Relaunch the NetWeaver Business Client program, if successful your screen will appear as followed
